Kashmir Martyrs’ Day: A Memory of Freedom, Resistance and Solidarity

As a Belgian investigative journalist, today, on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, I would like to draw attention to the freedom and resistance struggle of the Kashmiri people and commemorate Pakistan’s solidarity with Kashmir.

Kashmir has historically been a region that has faced constant conflicts and oppression. Today we commemorate the lives lost defending the freedom of many Kashmiris. The selfless struggles of these heroes symbolize the Kashmiri people’s desire for freedom and their resistance to India’s hostile policies.

Pakistan’s solidarity with Kashmir plays an important role in this struggle. Pakistan’s persistent stance in defending the rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people is admirable.

The challenges and challenges faced by the Kashmiri people should be brought to the attention of the international community. On this day of remembrance, I call on the entire international community to support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
